I am afraid there has yet to be a response to the letter sent on 26th June to LBRUT asking for action to return the Udney Park playing fields to community use, beyond a brief holding letter. I have updated the Foundation’s letter to include as signatories various individuals and local clubs who missed the deadline before the original letter was sent. All these additional endorsements are very much appreciated.

A big thank you to everyone who wrote to ask that their signature be added on the letter sent by the Foundation to LBRUT. The endorsements below are typical of those that I received.
The Charity has written to LBRUT in an attempt to break the impasse over the ownership of the fields at Udney Park. Whilst everything remains in limbo the pitches and facilities continue to deteriorate.
Hopefully this letter, which has been co-signed by many local clubs, charities, residents groups and individuals, will be a catalyst in moving towards a solution.

Nearly eight months beyond final offers being submitted, the sale of Udney Park to A N Other is still to be confirmed. Whether there is a meaningful alternative to the community proposal remains to be seen. What is clear is that since 2014 the site has attracted increased planning constraints as chronicled below
